MarketSpreads

Following the suspension and subsequent administration of WorldSpreads on 16th and 18th of March 2012 respectively, former WorldSpreads subsidiary MarketSpreads was forced to cease trading on the 5th of April 2012. MarketSpreads director were quick to publically announce that client money was NOT at risk, and that the shut down was due to the practices of the company's previous owners in 2009. MarketSpreads finally re-opened on 27 April 2012 after the 'strange' ordeal.

 

Who are MarketSpreads?

• MarketSpreads originated in 2000 as Ireland’s first spread betting company.
• May 2010, following a buy-out from WorldSpreads plc, the MarketSpreads name was launched and was used by financial spread traders and investors in Ireland and other countries. 
• The management team at Market Spreads comprises of: John McGlade- Sales and Marketing Director and John McNicholl- Finance Director.
